Solvang
Happy Birthday to Claron!! (and Clark)
For Claron's birthday, I bought him an aebleskiver pan.

To explain aebleskivers, I must digress. So, Clark, Lilly, Claron, Eliza and I went to Solvang (and I never posted the pictures). Solvang is a "danish" village in the Santa Ynez Valley. I also went to Solvang with Doug and Julianna. Aebleskivers are pancake balls covered in raspberry jam and powdered sugar. The best place to get them is the Solvang Restaurant. They are AMAZING!!!
On the way home from Solvang, Eliza was showing her mad video game skills. Note: I did not take this picture while driving. Aunt Lilly took it.
Since we are going back in time today, I also found this picture of us getting ready for the ward Christmas party. Eliza didn't get to wear this coat much and I love it. Also, I love her face in it!!

Takin' It Back
Today Eliza and I were in a shop and I saw these sunglasses. I couldn't resist.
Crazy, huh? Definitely reminds me of someone circa 1987...
I thought I'd never say this, but it looks like the 80's are back!!!

For Poll
Which Easter dress should Eliza wear?
Note: For every dress I have a matching sweater, hat, tights/socks and shoes.
1. Vintage Fancy Silk
This dress is silk and has rosebuds embroidered at the hem and on the socks. I do not have a hat for this one.
2. A Bird's Life
This dress is cotton. There are eggs on it and funny birds. This one seems very spring-y to me, but not super formal.
3. Tip Toe Tulips
This dress is cotton. This dress is also very spring-like.
4. Holland Days
This dress is cotton. I do not have the shoes or tights pictured.
5. Cherry Blossom Silk
This dress is silk.
The poll is on the sidebar. Thanks for voting!!
Busy, busy, busy
So, Claron, Lala and I have been up to tons! Claron is in the midst of recruiting season, so we've gone to a bbq at the beach for that. Here is a picture of Lala on the pier at the beach.
Our racoon friends have been visiting again. They have NO fear of humans. In fact, the one lets me take his picture. Here he is. We need a name for him. Comment with suggestions.
Lala got her first real haircut. Her bangs were hanging in her eyes. Here is a before and after.
We had TWO baby showers this week and another one coming up. We went to Roxanne's birthday party and went bowling with the ward. I also gave a talk about vegetable gardening at Enrichment. In honor of that, I dressed Lala in her veggie dress. Here are some pictures.
Lala is an expert fake cryer now. Here are some funny shots. Notice the complete lack of tears. Usually, these episodes are brought on by me not letting her touch the camera. Tough life!
Lastly, I've been trying to get a video of her stacking her blocks. She is a whiz at this. However, everytime I pull out the camera, she can't resist coming to get it. See examples below. I did get a good video of her talking though.

Claron in the News
Claron was on the local news. Apparently, a Chemistry professor was "threatened"; however, the "suspect" has not been seen anytime recently IN THE UNITED STATES, let alone Santa Barbara!!! But, as SB has no real news... they take anything. The news crew went into the Chem building and took some footage. At the time, Claron and Scott were "baking out" their STM.
